Price promise

We promise to pay you 100% of the value quoted or your phone back FREE of charge!

If your transaction complies with our Terms & Conditions of Supply, we commit to pay the full amount of the price given to you. Once we receive your phone or device, if we find they do not meet our Terms & Conditions of Supply and the order value needs to be amended, we will email you a revised offer for your approval. If you are not completely satisfied with the revised offer, you can request to have the revised phone or device returned to you FREE of charge. Revised orders will be automatically processed for payment if you do not reply to our revised offer email within 14 days. Price promise does not apply to blocked (registered lost/stolen) phones or devices.

Same day payment*

You want your money. You want it fast. We understand. So we promise to make payment on the same day we receive your phone!

Your device is inspected the day it lands at our UK facility, and if everything matches your order the payment goes out the same day by bank transfer — clearing the same day, not in three working days. The asterisk is the honest part: same-day payment applies to devices received before 1pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Anything arriving after that is processed the next working day.

FREE to use and easy to follow, step-by-step instructions on how to remove personal information from your used mobile phone or device.

Step-by-step instructions for both iPhone and Android, including how to switch off Find My and Activation Lock, and what to do if you have already posted the device or it will not power on. It costs nothing, needs no account, and the steps are on the page rather than emailed to you. We securely process every device again when it reaches us, so anything left behind is removed as a matter of course.

Free postage

We have a choice of postage options including a freepost service. Simply register your sale online and we'll post you a FREE sales pack.

Choose whichever suits you: we post you a freepost pack, you print your own prepaid label at home, or you book a free Royal Mail collection and have the driver bring the label with them. Every option is prepaid by us and tracked, with cover up to £150 as standard, arriving with us in 1-3 working days. You never pay to send a device to Zextons.

Every page on this site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so your name, address and bank details are protected in transit — look for the padlock in your browser's address bar. We only ever use those details to process your sale and pay you, and our privacy policy sets out exactly what we hold and why.

Environmentally friendly

We aim to reuse over 95% of mobile phones received and promise to recycle any non-reusable phones in the most environmentally friendly way.

Around 80% of the devices we buy are refurbished and resold, most of them reprocessed here in the UK, so they get a second life instead of sitting in a drawer or going to landfill. Anything genuinely beyond repair is recycled in compliance with WEEE standards. We have been doing this since 2007, back when most old handsets were simply thrown away.
